Sack Cummings petition signed by 1m+

Doesn't it have to be debated in parliament if the signatures get to a certain amount? If so, it would be interesting to see who votes on what.

a few of us said last weekend, 'he wont be going'.

the moment Starmer said that Boris was weak for not sacking him (last Saturday evening?) - then theres no way his getting sacked as that would make Boris look even weaker, cos he only did it after Starmer said so.

I don't want him gone, let him stay.

he'll be back on the front pages for all the wrong reasons again soon enough.

I'd be happy if Cummings was sacked. BUT we'd still be left with BoJo and cabinet, surely the most incompetent leader of the country in modern history, so it would be satisfying but we'd still be in the ****.

Would state that’s actually a poor number given the supposed outrage across the country. Would have thought anti Tory brigade world have been all over it

The vast majority of people can’t be bothered with this sort of thing.
The Cummings damage for the Tories has already manifested itself in step changes in public opinion against the government.
I don’t think there is much more to be got out of Dominic, it’s been a great week for the 55% who didn’t want a Tory government.

One million plus in less than a week is a small number?

I think its an incredible number but it will be in vain even though those people have signed.

I signed it - all about keeping up the pressure and not letting Boris push it into the background. Even The Maybot has gone for Cummings tonight

Hi Wilf thanks for that. Yes I am but due to the pandemic all interviews are on hold so I’m still waiting for the interview. Over 2 month wait so far

In the middle of a global pandemic and people are crying about a technicality. How about leave the man to do his job, the PM obviousness him.
After this is over have an inquest and if any rules have been broken he can lose his job then.

this story now seems for important than the pandemic itself. It’s all Media driven

He breached the rules, that’s not up for debate now. It undermines the government message.

This government is not even through on 10% of its term, I don’t think I’ve seen a worse performing one.

Hardly a technicality. Besides which, why is someone unelected the de-facto Prime Minister?
