My workmate is an Aberdeen fan and is resigned to the fact he is leaving to come to us. They've even lined up a replacement from Hibs. Their initial offer to Hibs was apparently the exact same as our offer for Hedges. It was knocked back - so maybe we will have to pay them whatever they have to pay Hibs.
He is gutted they are losing him BTW.

I don't know why he is so sure, I don't think he personally is ITK. He just said everyone up there knows he is coming to us.

The player Aberdeen have bid for from Hibs is Martin Boyle. BBC saying he has a clause in his contract that if a club bids £500k they have to let him speak to them, but that it only applies to clubs outside of Scotland.

I would honestly rather get Boyle for £500k, bit old at 28 perhaps in terms of resale value but can play anywhere across the front line and has pace to burn and developed into a cracking player for Hibs in recent years. Low fee and wages wouldn't be much either.

I would think he doesn't fit our new style of play, he's an out and out winger, we don't play with them
