Russia-Ukraine sport implications

There is no way that the Champ League Final can be held in St Petersburg, it just cannot happen given the events in Ukraine

But can Russia compete at the World Cup later in the year? The Russian Grand Prix?

If they're banned from these sporting events, and have financial and trade restrictions put upon them, then what must it be like to be a Russian. Out in the cold, literally.

There's no way, logically, that a Russian-owned sports club should be allowed to take any further part in any competition, in either the EU or the UK.. Chelsea are still, in spite of RA's recent rearguard action, Russian- owned. So, firstly, Chelsea's premier league record for this season should be expunged, meaning relegation and secondly, Boro should get a walk-over into the semi-final. Simples.
