Rule Britannia, Britannia waves the rules

Norway have slapped the EU and UK‘s heads together haven’t they, a bit like a pair of naughty kids? Suggested stopping both fishing in their waters for failing to agree a deal (allegedly).

A total embarrassment from chest thumping Bozo.....this cabinet will not rest till were far away from being the 5th richest economy on the planet while being tied to the nasty EU....fcukwits the lot of them

Even Johnson can't be this stupid to think this is the way forward. All the French need to do is slow things down a little at Calais, they don't need to even stop lorries but rather do some checks, and there'll be lorries all the way back to the M25. We're relying on the EUs goodwill a lot more than them on us (with the possible exception of Southern Ireland).

The Fishery Protection Squadron does this day in day out 365 days a year anyway. It's absolutely nothing new.
And I speak as someone who served in HMS Tyne and HMS Mersey. They board, check and if necessary arrest transgressors. (Spent a week alongside in Lowestoft after arresting a Dutch trawler. Took ages to do the paper work and Lowestoft isn't the most throbbing Hotspot of fun you can imagine )
We've escorted Spanish and French trawlers out of our waters on countless occasions... They're regularly to be found down off Cornish waters.
Don't really understand why the papers are whipping up the "Gunboat" "headlines.

it plays (and works) to the remainer crowd as per the comments above.

similar to brexit crowd and their stories.

Both sides are guilty of misinformation at times

Whilst in the EU cooperation was hard wired by definition. Now, more than ever, we need to learn how to cooperate but I fear that is beyond this government and it’s Brexit Jihadist supporters. Johnson is the worst possible leader at the worst possible time!

Thanks for posting something informative, this is just another example of the way of the modern world where the mainstream media and especially social media can distort or bend the truth to suit an agenda. There really needs to be a change I do feel sorry for the younger population these days you simply can't read anything with faith that it is a true picture.

At times 😂
They are all full of lies, half truths and bullpoo.
My trust and faith in most politicians post 2010 has been waining, they don’t seem to be anything other than self serving, egotistical, narcissistic ne’er-do-wells with their snouts over some ugly trough or other.

Jolly Good Show:rolleyes:

Churchill2.jpeg

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”

Makes us proud to be British. Maybe we could have spitfires patrolling too?
