Boro linked with a move for the Sunderland striker who's out of contract in 12 months.

Admittedly I haven't seen much of him but his finish in the POF was a tidy one, was talked up quite a bit to

We were linked with him previously, went to Sunderland January 2021 for £300k - we went for Bolasie & NML crazy to think the previous Summer we paid £3m for Akpom.
I seen someone mention him the other day and he got absolute pelters on here.
Genuinely thought we had a great January that year, none of them are even here anymore! Fisher might as well not be

I don't know much about RS except the numbers, which are good, but I'm past judging strikers on their past goalscoring. What's his style of play like?

Of course he'll want to come; all Sunderland players aspire to joining Boro.
I've hardly seen him play either, watched the play off final and to be brutally honest he didn't catch my eye at all.

But his scoring record is great and I'm sure CW thinks he will be a good fit, if he comes of course.

'The Loch Ness Drogba'

Stewart mainly plays as a central striker, working between with width of the box as well as getting involved and build-up play on the pitch. He's also great at hold up play, links well with other attackers and can score any type of goal from long-range effort to an easy tap-in.

I would worry about lack of pace with Stewart, and even more so with Rhodes. Stewart looks a decent footballer mind. I don't think either would fit if Wilder is going to operate a pressing system.

Same scoring record as Cole Stockton ( free) with 26 goals , age 25 h1.88m , so 3 years younger than Stockton and slightly taller ( age 28 , h1.86m ) , but comes with a reported price tag of £5m .
I like Stewart and Stockton , maybe they could play together ?

I'd rather have Stewart over Stockton, not together tho. Expectations are fairly subdued at the moment.. who knows what Kieran Scott will pull out of the hat!
