Shearer on MOTD just now raving about his performance today for Fulham.

Will be interesting to see how his career develops from here on in. Still only 22 and it may just be that he's beginning to find his feet in English football.

Thought he looked good in some of the earlier games.

I get the feeling though he struggled to settle here.

Fans thought Juninho was crap, Southgate overrated.

If you look hard enough you'll find a fan with a different view.

You could see there was a good player there. He did a lot of the fundamentals well but he just didn’t fit into our system and lost confidence. You only have to look at the change in Akpom over the seasons to see what a difference the right system and motivation can do for a player. Plus he’s still a young player in a foreign country. It’s hardly surprising that it’s taken him some time to adapt.
