Does anyone actually know where he fits into this team?

Our lack of creativity today really showed and therefore I'd be tempted to play him v Preston but does anyone know where he actually plays?
 
I don’t think he fits into a Warnock 433 as he doesn’t track back enough for Warnock.

If we are to play wing backs though I think you can fit him in as a player floating behind the striker with a solid base of Saville, Morsy and Howson in behind him. Shame because you can just see from the way he controls a football he is a natural footballer. I would like to try and fit him in but can’t see us doing it.
 
He should have come in for Watmore today and started, that's if we wanted to rest big Dunc. We ended up with five in midfield today, who were all very similar, and couldn't break through a well drilled Stoke.
 
Far too deep for me today there were times he was behind morsy and even howson. So when he picks it up he has run through the rest to take the chance.
 
Shuffles in from the wing along the edge of the box and then tamely hits the ball of the shins of the defender directly in front of him. Does game after game when he plays. That's his only contribution.
 
Unfortunately for him, Tav, quite rightly has taken his slot. It's unfair to judge him on 30 minutes against a physical team given carte blanche to kick seven shades of shidt out of anything in blue/black stripes by a referee who was merely the spectator with the bast view for much of the game, but he was ineffective today.
