Absolutely no chance this is true.
He's just one of the regular transfer rumours the press wheel out when the window is open.

34 years old, still on £20,000/week+, and hasn't made the bench since early November due to a "back problem".
He's more of a centre midfielder than a winger, essentially a carbon copy of Howson, who's our captain and one of the first names on the team sheet...
The fact that West Brom would even consider loaning him to us would also be a massive red flag for me.
