Oh dear lord. I can only assume Gyllenhal wanted an excuse to show off his (admittedly impressive) ripped body by agreeing to be in this steaming pile of turd.

It was just about watchable till Connor McGregor turned up and spent the rest of the film gurning and wandering about like an ape carrying a couple of rolls of carpet.

Stick to Swayze and the 80s version I beg of you.

Some of it looked computer generated, was a bit of fun if you want a daft laff 👍

Bad vibes from the off - Gyllenhall worked hard to get into shape but that is the most impressive thing noted from the trailers and teasers and given they were the highlights I'm definitely out.

No time for McGregor at all. He's a has been with an ego the size of Ireland and a temper to match

Point Break remake levels of bad. Just stop remaking classics. Hollywood is really struggling with fresh ideas. I'm only surprised they didn't gender swap the lead character.

Dont get me started on the absolute pile of woke drivel Disney keep pushing out.

Please stay away from Big Trouble In Little China. It doesn't need a remake😂

Not sure what the fuss is about, the original was hardly the epitome of fine cinema.

both versions have similar review scores with audiences & critics, i.e very average

Not going to win any Oscars etc. , but we found it an enjoyable bit of escapism. If you like Jason Statham movies this is for you.
Fairly similar to original but nothing wrong in that.

I found the whole thing a bit naff before McGregor turned up, then when he did, it became absolutely awful. The girl in the book shop was quite good I guess. I'm struggling for plus points though

I normally quite like Gyllenhal but he phoned that one in. Looked like he was going to nod off rather than get his lines out most of the time.
