Riverside Cafe Bar

Did anyone go on Monday? I was at the Riverside today to pick the Lewis Wing signed shirt and the outside cafe/bar looked really good.
Open Thurs, Fri, Sat (not matchdays). 12 noon to 8pm.
Also there was a decent queue outside the shop where there is a big sale going on. A really positive first step this to a Riverside return and of course vaccinations are taking place behind the opposite stand so it really is a Riverside road to recovery.

Is anyone going tomorrow?
It would be interesting to hear your feedback.
But it does really look good and is a great setting actually with the Riverside behind and Ayresome gates and with a great sense of timing there is a giant ship berthed behind the North Stand again.

Seems a strange idea, it’s hardly a location that anyone will walk to from the town centre for a drink for any other reason than going to the game.

we got Takeaway coffees on Monday while we queued for shop.Staff were very pleasant but cant imagine it been used.
Monday was the test day, wasn't it? Fans have long called for there to be something like this at the Riverside. Derby County has had a Starbucks at Pride Park for years.
With people visiting the shop and vaccination centre, added to those going to the shops (B&M, Food Factory and Argos), Middlesbrough College and Gazette all now based close by and a big car park let's hope this can take off in the last month of the football season.

Fair play to the club for trying this, their income streams have been massively hit this last 12 months. I hope it’s a success
