Ah, what a shame.

I watched the episode of One Foot In The Grave featuring him only a couple of weeks ago and I wondered to myself what he must have made of Politicians and their performances over the last few years. They could have done with a few George Parr mirrors held up to them on satirical TV.

Loved his work, especially with John Fortune: 2 faces made for political satire.

Hadn't realized he was that old tbh; a good innings, but will be missed. RIP

Nice tribute on bbc news just now as I never realised he was originally going to Present that was the week that was after he came up with the name but instead he recommended his then flat mate David frost instead.
