RIP Glenda Jackson

The film Women in Love was ground breaking as it touched subjects previously untouched by the film industry. Her Oscar winning performance was much deserved.

Really sad. Her Cleo with Eric and Ernie was superb.
As a young man I found her incredibly attractive as well.

Genuinely great on screen, an outspoken woman in politics. Will be missed. RIP

All those things. She was defiantly her own person in politics, refused to toe the party line, which ended her chance of a ministerial career. The Thatcher tributes in house when everyone, including Labour, were oozing sanctimonious BS.She stood up and told exactly what Thatcher was. She was asked when she wrote or decided what she would say. She improvised the whole thing on the spot…but you can see what years of being one of the great actors can bring. Also a bit of Bercow at the end.
