Riley Mcgree

I heard a few whispers at the game today that he was off..

Josh Brownhill doesn’t seem that far away if McGree is off.

Hope he’s not off tbh

Carrick said they played a particular way today to give Silvera more room on the left (which is why Engel barely crossed the half way line) so I think it's just tactical.

So why did he come inside every time, at least McGree brings our left back into the game which stretches the opposition

Well that should be the last we see of that then. Keeping our 'Giles solution' pinned back (and remember he's been touted as a player with similar success to Giles) in order to free up Silvera looks a questionable tactic at best. And if it's also keeping McGree out it's ludicrous.

I said on the pub pre match yesterday that it’s always a worry at our level when foreign players go away with their country as they be getting told all sorts from their team mates and sadly it looks like he’s had his head turned.

Out of the aussie players in the Australia squad, who would of turned his head, if his head has been turned?

It’s prob more the whole playing v messi thing that he thinks he’s too good for this level. It’s clear that he’s not been the same since he came back from those Aussie games earlier in the season.

I thought he should have passed in the box but it was clear he was making a point to try and take on the whole team on his own.
