Riley McGree

McGree has wonderful close control at times and works hard. His final ball is sometimes lacking though. Good player at this level but I'd hope he can improve.

Hackney is excellent. The balls he plays forwards into feet allow for quicker forward play and really get us moving.

If there's any criticism for today it would be that Fry and McNair didn't play those sort of balls into the midfield enough. Minor quibble though.

I agree McGree played well but today's man of the match goes to Dael Fry. He won everything today. Outstanding performance. We haven't kept a clean sheet for long enough and Fry was a big reason we kept one today. Arguably the best centre back in this division.

Looking back, Wilder's treatment of him was an absolute farce

The thing I loved the most was our flair players were well up for the scrap.
Forss, Mcgree and Chuba battled so hard. Entite team loved the battle. In years gone by, we've succumbed to that enslaught. We've let their giants pick on us. Today (I know he was injured) but forss absolutely no fear against Cooper, barged him off the ball, phenomenal finish. Not bad for a development striker.

Special mention for Paddy l, he was excellent, did his job so well knowing he had to cover for Giles when he went forward.
Maybe we don't need a center half after all.

Lovely to see Billongo on the bench to

Totally agree, Fry would have been sold in Jan, if that numpty had still been in charge. also Hackney would of been playing under 21s or loaned out.

So pleased we have a proper football man in charge, who understands the game properly.

I agree I said this in march last year and I stand by it

I’ve said for awhile now but he’s by and away the best technical defender in this league he’s like a rolls Royce in how he plays never panicks composed on the ball in possession and reads danger.

I think he’s a super player in fact im
Surprised he hasn’t been called up to train with England at the very least.

He’s the 3rd best technical centre back at the club. Don’t doubt his defensive abilities but the Championship Baresi he is not.
