I think we just don't seem to have enough pace and trickery to break teams down at the minute. I think Jones and ELL would of really tested the Sunderland defence. I don't think we are playing bad we are just missing that bit of A spark in the forward line.

Greenwood worked himself into the ground today. Typified by his tenacity to win the free kick that we scored from.
He's deservedly received criticism at times, but today he was one of our best performers.

Probably had his best game today, looked like a proper number 9 with those runs in behind, we missed him when he went off. Coburn is so obviously injured it is not worth him playing.

My Boro man of the match today Greenwood. If every Boro player worked half as hard as Greenwood did today we would win a lot more games. Not always my favourite player but thought his attitude and commitment today were exceptional.

Can’t fault his effort and pressing but in possession he’s lacking. Headless chicken at times. Gives daft fouls away when we have sides pressed.
