The Rotherham midfield used to be Crooks, Barlaser and one other. Admittedly that's not exactly a recommendation. Then again, Ipswich's midfield is Morsy and Luongo, both of whom were considered to be league one at best by people on here.

Personally, I would be ok seeing Howson at right back for the rest of the season. We don't play with a normal right back and I think Howson is the kind of player who can make that role work. Does depend if he still has the legs for it.

Have said on other threads in my opinion that would be a poor move and one Carrick won’t consider. He’s an inexperienced left back - playing him out of position could be a recipe for disaster.

Presumably you mean inexperienced in the championship? Because he's not inexperienced generally, and was captain at his last club

We do play with a right back in Smith , but he is injured , so we tried VDB there , and he struggled , so we put Dijksteel in and , he struggled mainly due to being not as match fit as he could have been.
Howson can play there .

Did Rav struggle at RB? I remember him being excellent there against Cardiff, Southampton, Norwich, Birmingham Leicester etc. We definitely didn't put Dijksteel in because VDB was struggling, we played him because Fry was injured and we needed Van Den Berg to play Centre Back.

Incorrect. If fry never got injured rav would be right back every game. Hes better than dijksteel even when he's fit
