Retro Electro Workshop

Anyone watch this? It's on The Yesterday channel.
Kind of like the Repair Shop for old electrical things. 50s tellys, Radiograms, ZX81s, 30s radios etc

Loads of stuff where you find yourself saying "Kinnell!, me auntie/grandad/mam had one of them!"
Is it worth catching it? I like out like this.

On the one I'm watching now, they're repairing a 1977 Scalextric, a 1970s radiogram and an 80s Panasonic radio cassette player.

I've just watched the radio and Atari one and love the guy who fixes them. He just reminds me of the guy sat in the Rediffusion shop on Middlesbrough Rd, South Bank.

I'm presently watching the C5 episode.

In France this year we had trouble with our electrics in the caravan and had to get a local guy out to look at it. This guy turns up and susses the problem straight away and tells me it is the caravan charger. I ask him if he's got one or one similar and he shakes his head and tells me he will fix it. He shows me the charger box and tells me he's got to drill the rivets out to gain access. The box was meant to be repaired. Anyway, he takes it away and returns a day later with the box working. I feel anyone in this country would have flung and replaced it with a new one.
