I can remember my excitement when my Mum and Dad got a VHS recorder from Shab with that feature. If my memory is correct, that one also had a long play feature were you could record double the the duration of a standard VHS tape (although that made the playback quality pretty naff as a result).
What made you think of that now after all this time?
