Basically he has eleven players to pick from. They start ok and get in front and should really then put the game to bed.
He can't really make any subs (how bad were Rogers and Silvera when they came on) so even though he has some really
tired legs out on the pitch he doesn't really want to change things whilst we are winning. We then concede 2 awful goals
and he feels compelled to make some changes, and just as obviously the team get worse.
He really is playing with his hands tied behind his back at the moment so to speak.
On top of this he then has to go and do a press interview and try and defend it without throwing the players under a bus.
Pretty impossible situation to be in really.
We desperately need some fit players back, and soon so Carrick can do his job properly.
Just my take on last night.
