Referee Darren England sticks to decision after VAR send him to monitor

In Everton’s 3-1 win at Fulham
Turned down a penalty to Fulham in the 97th minute - wouldn’t have affected the result though
Very rare for that to happen
Will be interested to see it on MOTD - and what the pundits say about it
Darren England was the official who wrongly ruled out Diaz’s goal against spurs wasn’t he, totally misunderstood what had happened? We then had him away at Plymouth as a result, where he incorrectly failed to give Jones a Penalty. I dunno if he was right or not today, but I know where my money would be.

Well if you put it that way…..

Absolutely the right decision. The VAR guy should be embarrassed being in that job role and thinking that decision should be reviewed. I bet he's a school councillor

I've not seen it yet but hurrah for a referee for sticking with his decision and not kowtowing to VAR automatically. It's about time someone did.
