As Real Madrid are due to play Man City on Friday 7th how are they going to "self isolate" for 14 days prior?
Anyone coming to Britain from Spain has to do this isolation.
I assume the usual "rules are just for normal people" will apply.

The whole Madrid squad should be isolating regardless of the uk rules as one of them has just tested positive. Uefa says City still have to play them though. Can see a hefty legal case if one of the city players catches it from a Madrid player.

Hardly anyone in the world is tested more than footballers at the moment, there's hardly any risk in them travelling because it will be known that none of them are carrying covid.
Complaining about them not isolating for 14 days isn't valid because they go through strict testing regularly. No City players will catch it from a Madrid player because Mariano is the only one who tested positive and he won't have had any contact with the rest of the squad as they're not training, and by the time the game comes round that'll be over 14 days anyway.
For those who think it's wrong they don't have to isolate, why do you think that? I see no reason why a group of people who it is 100% confirmed don't have the virus should self isolate.

Another indictment of why the season should just have been cancelled.

Sporting glory, it's the only fair way to settle it, oh my ****!

Money money money.

Aren’t all the games being played in Portugal as a single leg big county wide competition. So there won’t be much travel involved. Until after the competition is over.
