Radiator Fans

im a fan of underfloor heating & ground source heat pumps

just put silver foil behind the rad and it will reflect the heat - that stuff you use to wrap food in an oven with.
Radiators don't radiate much, they convect, so the tinfoil won't do much.

Fans will circulate warm air adjacent to the radiator surface and move into the room so cooling the water in the radiator which will mean the boiler will fire more often and heat the room up a bit more quickly. So fans might help in heating the far corners of a room more quickly.

Goodness you lot are on the funny pills today. Or As my French mate would say , did you swallow a clown 🤡

Has anyone used them - - do they work, improved heating of your home?
Seems there are 2 types now. Ones that sit on top and try to push the air at a 90 angle into the room. The new ones you seem to put at the bottom and they increase the airflow speed going up inside the radiator.
I wouldn't bother with either though . Let conduction do its thing . Even the ones that try to push it into the room , it just going an extra 30cm into the room before it goes up to the ceiling anyway. If you do buy it one thing is for sure, you will convince yourself it works , without any statistical evidence.
