I like some questions along the lines of

Which is the tallest, the Blackpool Tower, Nelson's Column or the Statue of Liberty? Always good for messing with your head (Ans = Blackpool Tower)
 
You could ask the old chestnut about naming the racecourses that don't have any of the letters R, A, C and E in them. Someone always answers Redcar.

is this to do with their names? , Ill say Chris Rea, uses his own given name, there may be more to do with why the others are called what they are?

That's a good answer. In fact Chris Rea is the correct answer but the reason I want is more specific and more HIGNFY than that. Specifically, Peel, Strummer and Sensible had railway engines named after them (all Class 47s) whereas Chris Rea named one of his albums after a class of railway engine (Deltics).
