Question Time a bit feisty tonight.

People raising their voices and arguing passionately for inanities. 'We need a ceasefire ' No 5hit.

Watched about 2 minutes with the wifey with the grey hair arguing passionately about Israel's post Oct 7th response being pretty much reasonable and proportional.

Off.

Exactly. People getting frustrated and incredibly angry with our own politicians about the Israel / Palestine situation. But I think I am right in saying that the whole panel wanted the killing to stop - apart from that mad lady. But clearly they dont have the power to do so. Apparently that is not good enough and someone should manufacture a magic wand that brings world peace.

The killing won't stop as things stand. Unless the International Criminal Court remember they have a job and indict Netanyahu.

E.g., "War crimes which are grave breaches of the Geneva conventions in the context of armed conflict and include, for instance, the use of child soldiers; the killing or torture of persons such as civilians or prisoners of war; intentionally directing attacks against hospitals, historic monuments, or buildings dedicated to religion, education, art, science or charitable purposes."

The grey haired woman got shown up for exactly what she is. Grifter.

I thought Lucy Powell did well and put her point firmly across.

Lost count of the times Fiona Bruce interrupted her though, ‘you’ve made your point’.
