Has any thought or plans been worked on to understand and counter teams getting at us early in games? Why do we start so slowly?

Also, why didn't Barlaser get on on Saturday when we needed someone Central to open up the WBA defence.
 
Only looks bad because it has happened twice recently. It's not like it happens every week. We haven't conceded many 1st half goals. WBA and Sheff Utd scored early but QPR scored in the 89th min, Cardiff in the 25th (we had scored in the 17th), Blackpool and Watford were clean sheets, Sunderland scored in the 51st min, Milwall clean sheet, Birmingham 74th min, Blackburn scored early (6th min), Wigan 61st, Burnley 60th, Luton 33rd, Norwich scored early (7th min), Blackpool clean sheet, Bristol 10th min, Preston 35th.

Maybe 1 every 4 matches we concede early is a problem but we only lost one of those matches (WBA), drew with Bristol and came back to beat Norwich, Sheff Utd and Blackburn all away from home.
 
Sadly I cannot get there today - time was too tight in finishing off the fanzine for the Reading game.
