Question about TikTok music

Just came across a link to a song I like but it is on TikTok something I know nothing about. When I go to site it only plays 25 seconds of the song but looking at the comments the full version must be playable somehow. Anybody know why I am only getting the short version.
 
Can you not find the song on other sites like Spotify/YouTube etc? TikTok isn't generally used to listen to music on.

The song is a cover of counting crows - accidentally in love.

I presume the user posting it is the artist because his profile links to SoundCloud but he is probably just a small guy as only has 5 followers on there. Drop him a message if you want to hear the full version

I presume it was just recorded directly for TikTok? It's not one of his 3 songs on the SoundCloud link and he isn't on Spotify

Might do that, thanks. I know the song is a cover of the C.C's track you note which is one of the reasons why I like it but as I said the guy is lead singer with Heyrocco who I absolutely love. Cheers
 
Yeah it doesn't look like there is a full video of the cover, just this TikTok.

Heyrocco, now there is a band I haven't heard in a while! I remember reviewing their album Teenage Movie Soundtrack for NARC Magazine a few years ago.
 
They have been quiet of late. Just a couple of EPs and plenty of gigs stateside but I think last time they toured here was supporting The Lemonheads in 2019 which I missed. That said I'm sure I seen another UK(which I also missed) after that.

Teenage Movie Soundtrack is/was a cracking album hope you gave it a good review.;)
