Filmed from different angles. Darlo's was probably filmed using a TV gantry and proper cameras etc.

Boro's probably was off an iphone - how could Boro have provided better footage from an away game in which showing highlights was probably very far down the priority list and given they have no means of recording the game assuming they even wanted to and have no rights to broadcast anyway?

They have though, haven’t they. Sub standard camera work but they have provided highlights.

The means of recording the game would be camera(s) wouldn’t it?

Even at Hurworth the highlights is always very poor. I can only guess they keep it so wide for analysis but from a viewer and a fans point of the view. The camera work is abysmal.

A far out idea but maybe ask Darlo for a copy of their highlights.

Not sure what you mean by “proper cameras”? It’s a couple of GoPro’s behind the goal supplementing standard Camera 1 (wide) Camera 2 (tight) coverage.

Showing a clip from someone isnt the same as broadcasting highlights which is what Darlo have done - bit of a difference.

I guess the filming at Hurworth is as you said for analysis and showing highlights is not a priority hence quality is not as good. The filming will be done to aid training not for a fans viewing experience which seems right to me.

Perhaps they did ask to show Darlo's footage and there was a charge that wasn't worth paying? We don't know do we.

I meant proper cameras as opposed to a phone camera - I have no idea what was used but your description sounds more like "proper" to me than a camera phone.
 
Showing clips is exactly the same. It’s up to you how good you make it.

It’s obviously in Darlo’s interests to have Boro there. I’d be amazed if Darlo said no to sharing highlights. I’d also be amazed if we had nous to ask.

We would they invest in the MFC app, video section if it’s not to enhance the fan experience?

Boro were once the leaders on the TV coverage side of things with the Comcast days and Boro TV. No longer.

I don’t have the phone signal to watch the full Boro video, to see if it does tighten. If they are using a phone camera, then someone wants shooting and better shot than the “clips”.
