Oh my word. Full blown lunatic who’s either a puppet of his lunatic ‘nationalist hawks’ of Russia to keep being president or he has lost all reality.

Very very scary speech and the West have to announce a policy of regime change in Russia.

We are heading for mutual destruction here because he is the new hitler.
 
All it takes is one Russian anti-Putin individual - taking one for the team with a weapon of his choice.
 
yes, it had clear resemblances to Hitler's speeches.. the motherland, unity, history, the destiny of a nation, hatred of the enemy etc.
But I'm not convinced that the clapping was sincere. They all looked very worried to me, and so should they be.
 
That was just the most incredible rant (speech) I’ve ever heard
EVER.
I have the good sense to know that the west and especially the USA are certainly not completely innocent by any stretch however, this speech was beyond delusional and basically the words of someone who has either lost his mind or wants the western leaders to think he has lost his mind.

The thing is a couple of hawks behind him are and would go further towards the west so getting rid of him isn’t necessarily the end of this hostility however it’s worth trying!

perhaps. And the whole regime needs to change, with democratic elections, but I can't see it happening.

Not sure who the hawks are in th ref background as Putin is defacto dictator but anyway.

They do have Democratic elections the problem is that they are easy to manipulate to appear to be open when they are not.

It’s a mindset thing as well look at how quick putin was able to cut off the west even with 20 years of glasnost and perestroika gone in a weekend.

Imperialism and imperialist sentiment lies deep in the psyche. Humans are easily conditioned by ideology and it takes a long time to change a mindset. Obviously, glasnost and perestroika only touched the surface, and therefore gone in a weekend.
