Pure scum

Talking to someone I know last week.He caught a young lad prising the lock and hasp off his shed in guisborough. He pinned him to the floor and rang the police. Was told "ask him his name then let him go as it would be at least 6 hours before anyone can get there 😳

Loads of it going on out in the sticks where we live.
Latest thing they knicked was £30k worth of farm IT hardward and software.
It's rampant. No deterent for them these days.

I would have secured the scrote to a lampost and told the police where to pick him up!

Since the media announced that police are barely investigating burglaries, and even if they do prosecutions are low, it seems to be very much on the rise again sadly. They just heap misery on their victims and they are rarely caught. All they seem to get are slaps on the wrist such as small fines and suspended sentences, mainly because of their mitigating circumstances from their tough experiences lived to date, often due to substance misuse and a life of poverty and hard times, poor lambs.

On a separate note, I just found out that the sneak thief that stole my personal diaries has just died. My thoughts are with his family.

Not that it justifies their actions at all, obviously, but I've always found it a little strange that people keep tools, sometimes worth a lot of money, in a big wooden box with far less security than the big house right next to it. Just seems to be a bit of a British thing to do.

Or park a 100 grand car on the drive way next to the garage full of old paint tins.
