Sorry, I've probably not explained that too well.
You're capped at the 140 points specifically from the season card points (or 150/160, depending on the type you have), as it's a rolling 2 year thing.
You can then add points to that through the season with additional ticket purchases, which would carry on to next season, but would be obsolete for the season after.
