do you reckon we would have done any better than burnley and sheff u? have done so far ?, i’m discounting luton as i thinks they’ve exceeded expectations ?
 
Yeh I agree, I think we would have. Under Carrick we have shown we are very good at exploiting space left by an attacking team, and less good at attacking teams that sit back. I think in most cases in the PL, we’d have faced teams attacking us rather than sitting back.

No doubt we’d have taken a few pastings too, but think we’d have done better than Burnley at the very least.
 
Probably not. We're in the bottom half of the championship. We can't even compete in this division. The PL is a completely different level. Without Everton's point deduction the 3 that went up would be adrift at the bottom and we'd be right there with them.

Luton would be 4 points from safety with 2 games in hand on Forest.

That's not adrift for me.
 
Saying that, they've just said Adebayo has been injured in the warm up and he's a massive player for them.

Not sure they'll manage now.

The situation would of been completely different if we went up for one all our loan players would of stayed and Akpom would of stayed. So they wouldn't of been such a change in personal in the summer. We would of just signed some stardust.

Shows how much confidence can impact strikers, he looked useless for months but he's scoring constantly now.
