Premier League clubs have voted to return to a Summer Transfer Window which closes the end of August/beginning of September.
So for the past 2 years the Prem has closed the window a month earlier than Europe and decided that this has caused problems and so the 2020 Window will close on September 1st. Apparently we expected European teams to follow our lead and stop transfers before the big kickoff and they didn't move. So expect all the whining again about players not signing until 4 weeks into the season.
