Not good enough for the premOK, I'll bite.
The question was 'why do we need an alternative' to Dan Barlaser?
How is 'because we only have two or so threads' an answer to that question?

Not sure what you want me to say lolYou appear to be a master today at not answering the question asked
I get your point Newy, they all look like decent players, I was just wondering what specifically is wrong with Dan Barlaser?“Because we only have two or so threads”
In relegation to the one thread per player thread. We will need reinforcements to the squad if we get promoted. I like the look of Ellyes Skhiri as a defensive midfielder presuming Jonny Howson would need some back up Jose Cifuentes as the number 8 come number 10 midfielder we were looking for in Martin Payero and with Anfrenee Dijksteel seemingly out of favour I would personally opt for ‘the Belgian John Stones’ Louis Patris
Ardon Jashari on a permanent in the premier league I’m guessing would be preferred to Alex Mowett on loan in the championship..
Alternatives
Not sure what you want me to say lol
It was the thread thing and the promotion thing.. what else is there to say? Am I being shyte post shamed here or what?
I think I thought you’d say that..I was just trying to figure out how you thought your original answer answered the question I asked.

Frustratingly intelligent and attractive!Today?
I don't think there's a more frustrating poster on the board than Newy
Frustratingly informed on so many aspects of football yet still come out with some of the maddest posts I see on here. A mystery.Frustratingly intelligent and attractive!
I think you would need to meet the man to understand the threads. As for discussing who we need, I personally wouldn’t want to entertain thoughts until we are dancing around Wembley Stadium in celebration.Frustratingly informed on so many aspects of football yet still come out with some of the maddest posts I see on here. The club can’t afford to wait though.I think you would need to meet the man to understand the threads. As for discussing who we need, I personally wouldn’t want to entertain thoughts until we are dancing around Wembley Stadium in celebration.
I'd be glad to meet and share a pint with Newy! I would pretty much anyone on here to be fair.I think you would need to meet the man to understand the threads. As for discussing who we need, I personally wouldn’t want to entertain thoughts until we are dancing around Wembley Stadium in celebration.
Ive no doubt they are. In fact I very much hope they are. Its me discussing it beforehand amonst ourselves as fans that I cant be doing with personally. Call it tempting fate, superstition - don't want to set myself up for a massive disappointment. The club can’t afford to wait though.
Every Premier League team Inc Burnley and Sheff Utd will be working on potential transfers now and will have a few weeks to steal a march on whoever gets promoted if play off teams waited. I appreciate players will not commit to a play off team till outcomes known, but groundwork needs to be done and in principle discussions take place i’d have thought
Ah, I’m with you on that one, when we get into the nitty gritty of the play off situations my nerves will kick in and override my positive feelings till the whistle is blown, in fact they are already there really. I’m stupidly worried about playing Millwall over 2 legs and we don’t even know for sure anything yet, I am also worried Luton decide to try and injure some of our more important players on Monday in the hope it makes their life easier come a potential Wembley play off. I know it ain't rational, but once those thoughts are seededIve no doubt they are. In fact I very much hope they are. I find it's actually a useful distraction. Chewing over what-ifs whether we stay down or go up distracts me from worrying about the actual match. Interesting seeing names of players you've never heard of and taking a look. Also interesting to think if I was in charge what would I do and so on.Ah, I’m with you on that one, when we get into the nitty gritty of the play off situations my nerves will kick in and override my positive feelings till the whistle is blown, in fact they are already there really. I have been worrying about that visit to the New Den and how nerve wracking and hostile it is going to be.Ah, I’m with you on that one, when we get into the nitty gritty of the play off situations my nerves will kick in and override my positive feelings till the whistle is blown, in fact they are already there really. I've never been but whenever I've watched their games on TV it doesn't really scream hostile to me... maybe a play-off would be different I suppose.I have been worrying about that visit to the New Den and how nerve wracking and hostile it is going to be.
