Premier league ref David Coote

Got to be commended on his choice of reading material though.

I've also seen a photo of what is supposedly a load of refs (Including Coote) on tour in Indonesia with what are described as "hookers" (I have no idea whether they are or not), but there will be a few blokes having to explain the photo to their wive's this morning.
That's from years ago that but I think it's being brought back up to question his or their character.

Can see him going to Saudi and coining it in.

If he does have personal/mental health issues, or is an addict, then I hope he gets the help he needs and the press will leave him alone.

I know it's foolish of him to allow himself anywhere near a camera especially if he takes cocaine with his so-called pals

But at the same time, he's human .... and whoever leaked all this to the papers, etc, :ROFLMAO: ... it is sly as **** I think. Knowing the uproar and damage this will do to him mentally, obviously the dude can't be so much of a mate these days!

I must go and see how that asinine twit who runs the refsupport Twitter page is taking all of this. He regularly manages to find more and more ridiculous ways to defend referees no matter what they do. Surely this will have broken him.

I'm starting to feel sorry for him now. His life is going to be in turmoil. I hope the PGMOL are giving him the support he needs.

The last thing he needs, is people tearing him to shreds.

He hasn't helped himself with these incidents and his career of a PL referee will be all but over. But underneath all this, there is a human being.

We all need to remember we are all human and we've all made mistakes. His mistakes are highlighted due to the nature of his work, but he's only said and done what a huge amount of other people have said and done.

He shouldn't have said what he said and he certainly shouldn't be doing what he's done (in the second video), but I just hope he's getting the help he needs to get through this.

The press, social media etc can be brutal at times. And we've seen in the past, that some celebrities can't handle the pressure....and that's the last thing we all want

You changed ya tune quite quickly!

My friend knew him personally as his wife’s cousin was in a relationship with him for about 10 years, he said “this couldn’t be happening to a more deserving c**t”.

I agree, I have.

I still believe he was an idiot to do what he did. And he deserves some sort of punishment.

But I do feel sorry for him now as his life is now magnified massively by the media, press etc. And that can't be healthy.

I do have sympathy with him, even though the decisions he's made that led him to this point have been very much the wrong ones.

We weren't scoring that game no matter who was ref just wasn't our day sadly

He let Coventry get away with kicking the absolute sh*te out of us.
I’ve always been amazed not more was made of how bad he was in that game. Coventrys plan was to take turns to kick our best players, particularly Akpom. Didn’t book any of their players for over half an hour of deliberate cynical fouls.
I might be biased though.😁

And, fair play to your compassion 👍

To be fair klopp was an awful tw@t behind his fake teeth. Wil there be any comeback on him for his behaviour tiwards officials , absolutely not
I was someone else who didn't buy into the love affair that many had for Klopp and felt behind the smiling teeth there was a nasty piece of work. I don't think you can fault his football teams and their style of play but I wasn't upset at seeing him leave English football.

To be fair anyone who is going to be hugely successful in football needs to have that ruthless streak. You need that inner steel and sometimes that can include being nasty on occasions.
