Birmingham - good manager and have bought/loaned/released astutely

Blackpool - good manager and on a roll - made moves to tighten their defence

Boro - got rid of their deadwood, signed a new keeper and have invested in pace. 😇 i expect them to do better than last season

Nice to see Blackpool on the up again for their fans after the trauma of the Oyston family reign. The beauty of the Championship is that any one can be a surprise a package. However in recent years the automatics and play offs have become the preserve of the recently relegated and I can't see that changing much this year though West Brom might struggle more than expected given their ownership issues. I expect Bournemouth and Swansea to be there or there abouts again. Surprise package might be Millwall....expect Saville to score a few.

I can see WBA and Bournemouth battling for the top spot

Battling for play offs - I reckon Fulham, Swansea, Boro, Millwall, Barnsley and QPR (4from6)

I reckon Sheff Utd may struggle around mid-table as things stand, not even sure if they have bought or loaned anyone yet

I don’t see too many surprises, but I do agree Birmingham will be a much better team than of late.

It’s got to be our year hasn’t it ?

Warnock has been here long enough to adapt a squad and given his record on promotion surely it’s just a formality 😬
A striker that can hit double figures by Christmas will help mind and more goals from midfield. It’s all about the goals 👍

The year after, maybe, this year will be spent trying to avoid the drop 😉

My ITK friends tell me that we will receive a massive sell-on fee when Bowen signs for Liverpool and we will use that money to sign the Barcelona players no longer required and romp to the title. I worry that West Brom could do a Norwich and just go top at the start and stay there most of the season.

If they keep Pereira, then it's basically having a cheat code. You'd like to think a Premier League club would sign him. He'd walk into most sides outside the top 6.

Sam Johnstone is far too good for this division too.

As for the rest, I'm not sure. Fulham don't seem to have lost a lot of players so they could go straight back up.

I have duly bookmarked it and was about to file it in the fiction section. However, on closer research, I see Sky have done a deal to show all their games live on Channel 113, so have filed it next to my Alan Partridge collection.

Back of the net 😁
