Andy Wilson played for the Boro between 1914 - 23 a prolific goal scorer, he scored 57 goals in 90 appearences
On the 15th March 1915 v Liverpool he become the 1st Boro player to be sent off at Ayresome Park
On the 3rd September 1921, after scoring his 3rd goal in a 3-2 home win over WBA, he had scored Boro 1,000th league goal
1923-24 November his final home match v Chelsea he scored, the following match v Chelsea away he drew a blank & was later transferred to Chelsea, at the end of the 1923-24 season both Boro & Chelsea were relegated & AW was top scorer for both teams

the 3 referee's for the 1966 world cup finals played at Ayresome Park were; Juan Gardeazabal Garay (Spain), Ali Kandil (United Arab Republic) & Pierre Schwinte (France)

The most hattricks by any player in a single season is held by George Camsell. In 1926-27 he bagged 9

Unfortunately, the most own goals in any season is held by Bobby Stuart in 1934-35 where he bagged 5.

I think we jointly hold the record for the highest ever score draw too, 6-6 away at Charlton in the 60’s
