Possibly a dodgy thought!

With all the rhubarb going off up the road in the toon, one certain thing is a new manager will be coming in. Sad, as I quite like Steve Bruce as a bloke, not too keen as a manager though. So old Brucie will be looking for a new club and, ahem, the Boro could be soon looking for a new manager!! No, it couldn’t happen, could it ???
Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I honestly cannot be bothered reading all the hoohah about what is happening at Newcastle!

The funniest thing about all this are the Mackems. They are either going into hyperdrive about how they are the best club in the north east , or are making a big thing about not at all being bothered and only wanting to win things using kids from the academy. 😁😁

Exactly this 😂

I actually heard one saying this the other day. They hate how everyone thinks they are deluded and really only want a side that doesn't flirt with relegation.

72 hours later they are dancing in the streets and saying they should sign Kane and Sterling as both are 'unhappy'😂

Yes what we need is another manager with a record for dour football and persistent failure. Oh. The. Joy.

Sadly, I could actually see this happening. ☹️

Having said that, maybe Kieran Scott is going to take us in a completely different direction. I’m sure his ideas don’t revolve around dial-a-manager journey men.

Barcodes will be providing the league with a master class on how to waste money and win nothing. They are delusional to think they will attract players like Sterling or Kane and no , we don't want Bruce.

Of course they will attract players of the calibre of Kane and Sterling, money talks and is the motivator for most players.

I would take Bruce if I'm honest. Got Hull and Birmingham out of this league and did relatively well with the ungrateful unwashed (x2). Villa his only bad gig.

Yes, that thought process is working well with the current incumbent so why not... 🤷‍♂️
I don't see many better qualified candidates out there than Steve Bruce. Warnock was a coup of an appointment to get him when we were on the slide - it doesn't appear to be working out in the end that's true, but you can't simply write off hiring another experienced and previously successful manager.

I'd be very surprised. I think its fairly clear the long term strategy the club is going for and its doesnt include appointing limited managers like Steve Bruce.

Assuming Gibson doesn't panic, rip it up and start again. Which is always possible.
