wouldn’t effect pre match preparation.. no more than the window normally would have,

there’s no way that we would sell without having an agreement in place for another midfielder.

Also I do appreciate technically gifted midfielders. I was lucky enough to see Souness play in 70s now he was a proper midfielder.

I stand by what I say, Hackney is not the same player, as he was two seasons ago, maybe he will re-discover that form, but I'm not sure.

You mean it's normal for players to have been told they are playing tonight, then to have done a final training session ( yesterday) , then at about 1300-1400 on the day of the match to be told your not playing, then MC to turn to Dan B and say right your in the 1st 11 tonight , and just forget the last few days where we have been trying to get rid of you, unless we find a replacement for you tonight between now and 11pm.

Yeah, really normal preparation Newdy.

Probably stating the I obvious , but we need to make the most of having certain players here that can potentially do a job in the prem . We don’t really want to be making massive changes every summer . Having £10-15m more in the bank than most other clubs won’t necessary get us where we want to be .

Having bang average/injured players in the squad will not win us promotion. No point having one rolls Royce if a player that Porto want for £20m just sitting there.

It’s like having one really good brand new tyre on a car and three flat ones!
