Calamity Karius (champions league final) ️Karius making his debut for Newcastle at Wembley in their first cup final appearance in 24 years.
Newcastle have an ingrained unconscious ‘sabotage’ element to their club and existence which has developed after decades of zero success….Karius!
I think that is a little harsh on Wilson - I think he's like Assombalonga, he can score goals though just needs too many chances, & Lakaku... he's a threat, though not good enough for a team challenging for Titles.. so probably at the right level club ;-)Newcastle have an ingrained unconscious ‘sabotage’ element to their club and existence which has developed after decades of zero success….
I don’t even rate their manager. Someone who rates Wilson up top is always a numpty in my eyes (that lad robs a living)
Why would that make your day - the lad is gonna miss as the biggest game of his life!?

Yes but no reason to gloat over others misfortune.Shouldn't have been daft then.
Completely baffling decision from him to catch the ball.
Better to be 3-0 down than 2-0 with 10 men.
It's not misfortune though is it? More like stupidity.Yes but no reason to gloat over others misfortune.
No, it's the invitational, one team per city, heads or tails Fairs Cup.Isn’t the full title ‘the invitational 1969 Inter Cities’ Fairs Cup’?
But how can someone be that bitter that this would “make their day”It's not misfortune though is it? More like stupidity.
Watched it on MOTD and what on earth was he thinking? You are 2-0 down already, let them score. He may even have missed there were defenders getting back and he was quite wide. How on earth did he think he might get away with that under VAR?
If I were a Gerodie (and I thank the saints that I am not) I would be banging my head off the walls watching that. People still having a down on Steffen for his "decision making" might be well advised to watch a keeper, probably one of the top English keepers do something so catastrophically stupid as to defy any attempt to explain it.
I can't answer that but it did make me laugh. But how can someone be that bitter that this would “make their day”
It's called football rivalry. But how can someone be that bitter that this would “make their day”
