We may all be only human. But some of these humans think they're entitled to do as they please; that rules don't apply to them. And they don't mind preaching to us and patronising us at the same time.

I can’t agree with your points 2,3 and 4.One was setting the rules the other wasn't
One has accepted they were wrong the other hasn't
One will face consequences the other one didn't.
They were both wrong but the worse offender got off Scott free simply because our despicable PM couldn't grow a set of balls
He also travelled to at least one other place we know of. Plus he had symptoms of COVID and had spent a lot of time with people who had been tested positive. Knowing that, and still risking spreading the virus is worse surely?4.interesting definition of worse - one travelled in a car with their family the other mixed with multiple households at various venues including her own home. Finally she travelled to Coventry to go into a hospital to report on the first vaccination being given. I classify “worse” as being the action most likely to endanger others, hers is by far the worse in my book.
How did he risk spreading it - he was in a car and out for country walks if we believe what’s being said. She went to a restaurant and like I say which is criminal she was at a hospital - I know this is where you are going to let your political colours blind you so I will say it again she was prepared to go into a hospital so don’t bother telling me what he did was worse. He also travelled to at least one other place we know of. He travelled the entire length of the country with symptoms. And went to at least one different town. When you have symptoms your not supposed to leave your house. Let alone travel up the whole east coastHow did he risk spreading it - he was in a car and out for country walks if we believe what’s being said. I accept that, he was in a car and if we believe rumours which most do he took his wife for a day out for a walk in the country , I can accept all of that but crucially he wax mixing with no more than his family. He travelled the entire length of the country with symptoms. The debate centres around what is the “worst” transgression
Agreed - I’m sure most of us have broken the rules inadvertently or knowingly at one point in the last year. It is subjective but if you try to apply a measure to it it sounds like you are breaking a rule by mixing with someone from a different household. I think we can again compare you to the KB case as she knowingly mixed with at least three other households at two/three venues, so I think we can confidently say her transgression is worse than yours using those metrics. It’s not always that straight forward I agree. The ultimate with all of these things when taking these risks is that you have to be prepared to own the worse case scenario. That’s part of the problem though isn’t it?
The ‘worst‘ transgression is just so subjective.
I haven’t seen my 83 year old mum for 3 months. She lives alone in Yarm.
I’m taking a 2 hour car journey, with my wife, on Friday to take her out for lunch at The Tontine (as long as it is still in tier 2).
The risk to my mum or anyone else is slim to zero but it’s a transgression which many will slaughter me for.

It could do though. If it lengthens the time we have to spend with COVID restrictions or leads to you getting itNone of this directly impacts on my life in any way

The first bit will happen no? If people routinely break restrictions and keep the disease in high circulation, then those restrictions will stay in place for longer. Simple common sense. Fair play to you if you aren't worried about catching covid but I've heard enough from people who have had it to literally want to avoid it like the plagueYou see I don't think like that.
If I get then i get it. I have possibly already had it. What is meant for you will not pass you by. The vast majority of the world will catch it in some way shape or form.
Then going out if not going to change the lifting of the lockdowns that's for certain.
You might think differently if it put you or one of your family in a hospital corridor waiting for a bed in ICU. The whole point of closing shops, restaurants, pubs, football grounds, etc. is to reduce the transmission of the virus until we can fully roll out the vaccine(s), very simply if you have it you can pass it on very easily. Did you read someone on here telling how at a University Graduation Ceremony where the woman handing out the gowns had the virus and inadvertently infected 300 people? If I get then i get it.
