Police called

The lad will have had permission to go back to Brighton.
I feel for him re the police activity, it's the last thing he needs. I hope they can resolve things one way of another.
It doesn't impact on how I feel about him playing for my club.

Yeah, if he scores 3 against Bournemouth everyone will be over the moon. Ask any boro fan if they would like to see Aaron Connolly score two goals a game and get us promoted..

THAT overhead kick.. everyone wanted him to score of it.
HE could score a hattrick vs Bournemouth, but some fans would be right on his back within 15 mins of not scoring in the next game.

Yes, everyone will be delighted. But we all know in our hearts that he won't score three against Bournemouth.

In fact he might not even play against Bournemouth if the penny finally drops with Wilder. If he does play then we would have to assume there is a contractual obligation.

Perfect excuse for Wilder to drop him whilst saving face. Maybe the managers an especially tricky geezer and he was the one to phone the rozzers...? ;)

No big fan of Connelly given what I have seen on the pitch for us this season but giving some immature young lads £20k plus a week is always going to end in trouble. Their support systems, family and friends are so vital and so many don’t seem to have anybody to moderate their behaviours. They end up living the celebrity lifestyle and their football suffers. Hope Connelly gets the guidance and discipline he will need.

I am going to go out on a limb here and predict that he wont score a hat trick against Bournemouth (or any other club whilst on loan for Boro)

I just dont see it, in fact I just don't get the point of him at all. Brings nothing whatsoever to the first team and the fact that he is consistently in the starting 11 is more of a damning indictment of the current crop of strikers than a positive comment on his ability.
