No Rugby Pod, SmallTown!?

Two Bears One Cave (Tom Sergura and Bert Kreischer)
The Rugby Pod
Modern Wisdom (Chris Williamson - best self-care/help podcast by a country mile)
The Kickabout with Johnny Vaughn
Athletico Mince

Also, a load of general week-to-week sport ones (rugby and golf).
Apart from the last one ;)

Is the rugby pod any good? it's one of the ones I haven't listened to

Chart Music is great, keeps me going on long car trips for work. Don’t know if you heard Neil Kulkani passed away last week, he was only 51.

I like Off Menu but I get fed up with the same comedians doing the rounds on various podcasts.
Yes I saw Neil Kulkarni passed away last week. Very sad news - I really enjoyed he Simon Price and Al Needham talking for hours on that podcast.

Lots already mentioned. Ellis and John, Adam Buxton Parenting Hell are all good.

Try Where There’s a Will There’s a Wake with Kathy Burke or You’re Dead To Me.

Yes mate you'll love it. Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode, funny, good analysis and always decent guests on too.

Partial to Flats & Shanks as well. David Flatman and Tom Shanklin, 50% David Brent quotes, 40% current TV programmes, 10% rugby :p.

AH I do like Big Jim. Andy Goode was always a pantomime villain to us. Although, before his transplant I did like the way he looked like he had too much hair AND not enough hair at the same time!

Cheers I'll check it out

I'd love to be able to get into Podcasts, but just struggle to concentrate and keep up the listening habit. I've got mates who listen to 5 or 6 daily, however I've flirted with:-

Quickly Kevin (used to enjoy listening whilst running)

The Cycling Podcast (Havent listened since Richard Moore died, although think I still subscribe)

The rest of history (Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook)

We didn't start the fire (A sort of a history podcast that is looking at everything mentioned in the Billy Joel song of the same name, so touches on AIDS, crack, Chairman Mao etc with the lovely Katie Pulkrick and Tom Fordyce)

Got a flight to the West Coast of the USA, so may download a few from this thread and try and get back into them.

Enjoy podcasts but can only listen them without being distracted either in the bath or when driving the car, otherwise my attention drifts and I miss big chunks...hopefully my driving doesn't suffer

I once heard Katie Puckrick describing interviewing Barry White at chez Bazza. She asked to use the bathroom and found herself confronted by a chocolate brown bathroom suite, matching shagpile carpet, with an orange fairy ring burnt into it around the throne. Cracked bog seat too!

Sure it wasn't Fat Harry White and his soft top Bedford Rascal ?

Cant listen to them sat at home but they are good entertainment on car journeys and at the gym.

Athletico Mince - in its heyday laugh out loud funny every episode.

Revisionist History - Malcolm Gladwell’s thought provoking dive into American history and culture.

A Word In Your Ear - Pop culture for middle aged blokes

Chasin The Racin - Bike Racing chat

The Price Of Football - as they describe it ‘Looking at the money behind the beautiful game’
Can’t believe I missed off the Price of Football from my list. Twice a week and very topical. Get past the repetitive “man in the street” shtick of Kevin Day with regards to finance and the tofu laced right on pontificating of Maguire and it is diamond after diamond of football finance.

I agree the 13 minutes to the moon is brilliant, but I listen quite a lot of Nasa podcasts and articles from the - Mercury, Gemini projects Apollo Shuttle programs.

More than Podcast, most of the stuff I watch are specific interest or hobby channels.
Any Pen - Ink & Wash urban landscape drawing channels. Enjoying the tips and skills needed and then trying putting them into practice. I enjoy having a go, and found it very enjoyable. Also I try sketching and then watercolour and sketching and acrylic.
Couldn't draw the dole before, much better than I dreamt of.

Keith Appleton. Making Sterling and Steam engines on a lathe.
Scott Manley. Rocket and space mechanics.
Curios Droid. Science and flight space technology.
