Please Support The Mannequin Cafe

The Middlesbrough centre cafe has been targeted by burglars and for the 4th time in 5 years the front window has been smashed.
They can no longer get insurance and need our support to help replace a very expensive piece of glass.

On the main drag to the football along Corporation Road this is a popular spot for people to drop in for food on route to the Riverside. A breakfast tea, sausage in a bun and a quick donation would I am sure go a long way and be really appreciated by one of the friendliest cafe's you will come across in any town. It is so awful that they have been hit once again by thieves that even struck them when they were feeding the community during Covid lockdown.

It would be great to show them all the Boro community is on their side and help them fix the window and continue to serve us the most wonderful food in town.

What a great little Café and people, I admire their determination to continue but would seriously consider moving to a busier location. It's a café and not a lot of revenue for skip rats. Probably someone they feed, bar stewards.

They are close to the centre of town and the main hotels. And the law court. That whole block was expected to become another hotel. They are a very popular lunchtime location.

Is just so sad that such a great cafe is being attacked again. They could do with our support.
