Does mean ill mean = Covid? it really doesnt tell us a lot what being ill is? Do we need to know or is being ill enough? pre Covid Ill usually was followed up with flu or dicky tummy , got a bit more of an insight into the players illness,
 
Not sure it's any of our business, tbf.
Apparently he'll be fine for the weekend if the coverage is to be believed.

I think the only time it's ever been elaborated on in recent times is when Warnock said players like Assombalonga had diarrhoea, and I think that was partly him trying to embarass them.
 
Yes I think in the 'early days' of covid a lot of clubs did name names until it was pointed out to them that they were breaking a medical confidence.
 
understand the legal issues but when a player has a injury ... it is fine to go into detail --- foot, ankle, knee, sprain and back etc.....
 
I’m sure that if it’s COVID related then there’s transparency to the league but does it require transparency to the media? Probably not.
 
I've been ill all week. Work asked me why I would be taking two days off. Was honest and told them I was too ill to work.

Felt like utter crap for four days. I even took a covid test on Tuesday that came back negative.
 
Jones has played 39 games without respite apparently - most of us would feel absolutely knackered if we were him.
Even athletes without R & R get poorly sometimes.
We need him fit for the run-in(y)
 
There are some very nasty bugs around at the minute, I've got a chest infection unrelated to Covid myself right now and it's knocking the crap out of me!
