Bola: Exception tonight but still only a 5
McNair: passing and position allbiver the place 2
Wood: see McNair 2
Spence: 1 really really really bad. Could ho into detail but no point
Saville: Anonymous as he has been for the majority of his Boro career , wasted relatively simple chance, positionally all over the place 2
Morsy: Marginally better than Saville 3
Howson: not popular but for me poor since he came back. All over the place, trying to and probably being asked to do too much
Watmore: see Bola
Assombalonga: 3 no service but still anonymous
Roberts: see howson
Akpom: 0 literally better with 10 men
Rest of the subs 2

Bola: Love him, did ok
McNair: bad night, but a rarity
Wood: young lad, thought he was better than this, but still
Spence: So frustrating. Wing back only
Saville: £7million northern league plyer
Morsy: Looks overweight and not much different to what we already had
Howson: Great player but awful tonight - missed a chance to tackle player before first goal
Watmore: Ok
Assombalonga: Cant speak. £15million?
Roberts: waster - expect same if we get Bolasie
Akpom: £2.8m. 'striker' in name only
 
Forgot Warnock. 2 got ot all wrong with starting line up, subs, timing of subs. Do we need three central midfielders against Rotheram? Shape is all over the place and agree its the midfield. We got over run in the centre of the park and its something to do with trying to make the saville/ howson/ morsy triangle work. It doesnt
 
Watmore at least tried to make things happen.

I always think we look better when Johnson plays. I'm not sue why he's been benched.

Maybe Covid related? No leaders in that team tonight. Really really bad. Worst performance since Warnock took over. Saville needs dropping for a while. Rest of the season would do for me
