Pretty much agree OP. Ryan Giles at 22 is probably a year out of the young player bracket I would have thought but I don’t actually know the criteria for it.

Traore, and Jones won it at 22, but Giles is 23 in just over a week, so I think it's possible he could just be edging out of the criteria.

Coulson won it at 23, but it was for a season where he was 22.

After a spluttering start to his career at Boro he's been golden these last 2 years.
Thank goodness he extend his stay for this season.
