Btw I’m not saying we can’t still get second but it involves sheff u slipping up. We have no control on that now.

We do though have control over the play offs. That’s our focus that’s our aim.

Of course it's a reaction to the result.

If we'd won this thread wouldn't exist.

When Carrick came in I'd have taken survival.

When we consolidated ourselves in the top half I'd have taken the play-offs.

When we got ourselves within touching distance of automatic that's what I wanted.

I'm not going to pretend that this doesn't hurt because actually anything other than relegation is a bonus.

Expectations change. They've just changed again and this is the first time they've changed for the worse.

Had we won today this thread wouldn't exist, ergo it is a reaction to the result.

We are now further away from the automatic spot than we were before the game.

Our expectations are now lower than they were three hours ago even if they are still higher than they were six months ago.
