Automatic would have been nice but let’s be realistic every fan on here would have give their all for a sniff at the play offs under carrick. Now we sit 3rd and all but cemented that top 6 spot.

Let’s not let todays horror show detail that feel good factor and that buzz we have.

Bring on Burnley.

Exactly… we to bare that in mind.

We will have off days. Today was one as was Stoke that’s the championship.

We’re still third though let’s keep it in perspective.
 
Hope today is a wake up call for the lads, we were in total control in the1st half, but a game is not won in 45 mins.
Hopefully we learn from today, dust ourselves down and go again.
We still have loads to play for, it shows just how far we have come, when we as fans expect to win every week.
It's still been a great season, lets just cement our place in the playoffs.

I think that will have been his target when he was brought in. If we can stay up this season becomes a free hit.

Automatics was always a massive outside chance for me anyway.

Sorry, but that's just a reaction to the result.

Had we won we'd all be discussing exactly how we'd overcome the gap. That would have been realistic.

We had a real chance at an automatic spot and we've blown it.

The lottery of the play-offs isn't something to be looking forward to.
 
I fear we all go to wembley and get embarrassed again then it's another year of pain in this league. Carrick will leave Chuba will leave archer Ramsey go then what we left with another summer of turbulence
 
Got carried away tbh. Need to remember where we were when Carrick took over.

Feel flat but our club and team are in good hands.

The futures bright.

No it’s not

Btw I’m not saying we can’t still get second but it involves sheff u slipping up. We have no control on that now.

We do though have control over the play offs. That’s our focus that’s our aim.

They weren't that unlikely. We weren't favourites but with the fixtures today there was a realistic chance of sitting 2nd, or a point off right now.
Never mind though, time to go on another run and cement 3rd
