Play offs can't come quick enough

How can people say Coventry is a MUST WIN game? I'd be more than happy with a draw and like other people have said no more injuries ideally. That's what's important now. If I were Carrick I would rest a few of our key players. That way, if we were to face Coventry again in the play offs. It would be an entirely different proposition for them to have to deal with.

How long do you keep resting players for? What if Akpom got injured in the first leg and we need him for the second?

Go out to play football. Let's do this. What will be will be. UTB

strongest side V Cov to get the spirit and form back , full house as well. Tip toeing around protecting players is a high risk policy as form and momentum is at risk ... Both strategies could go wrong so hopefully we chose the right one for our team

really can’t afford to lose 3 games going into the play offs. Need atleast a point against Coventry. I don’t understand how anyone can believe That momentum isn’t huge in the run into the play offs.

Remains to be seen if coasting to the playoffs is sensible.

There is a risk that when we go for the loud pedal again, we find we can muster only a stuttering fart.

That's Carrick's choice, and he has deserved the right to make the decision. Hoping we aren't caught out.

Suspect Cov game will be a draw.

I agree and I honestly think he will

Some fans might not like it but Our regular season Ended weeks ago and it’s all been about the play offs ever since.

So they're long overdue a loss 🙂
Have watched the last two Luton games (us and Blackburn) and you would hardly say they are riding a wave of momentum. Both games were very similar in that they were easily second best in the first half followed by a quick start and goal in the second half. They got a dodgy penalty against us and we didn't really push ourselves to get back into the game, whereas Blackburn needed something and they got a goal with Luton barely threatening.

If you compared both ours and Lutons last two games without seeing any goals then you would probably say we have performed slightly better (although I didn't see yesterdays game) or at the same level.

Last time we entered the play offs was off the back of a defeat and a boring 0-0 draw against Brighton, in a season where it was a big blow to miss out on automatic promotion in the end and we cruised through the play off semi finals against Brentford.
