Play off final

Calling all veterans of the play off finals, a question??

Will we sell out our allocation of tickets?

My son could get a ticket earlier than I can because of his season ticket but if we wait until general sale we could get seats together, otherwise we will sit in different seats.

Gamble to wait isn't it and we both miss out??

Cheers

A big if for getting there, but the tickets priority system will be different to last time, so no one could give you an honest answer. I highly suspect they would put it to ST holders first, then other priority point, then general. I also suspect it would make general if it came to it, but that’s when it becomes a bit of a lottery

Was it not put to ST holders first then cascaded down as they do with away tickets for example?

These playoff final threads are starting to boil my pi$$ we have to come out on top over 180 minutes of football first

Who's to say the club wont just offer season card holders an extra chance to buy another ticket like they did for the spurs and chelsea games?
That would be outrageous.

These threads are going to look unbelievably stupid if we get beat in the semis.

Yep, absolutely silly to talk about a final when we have 2 difficult games to get through. Boro fans young and old should know by now that one thing this club has a history of doing is building your hopes up only to kick you in the nads sooner or later.

Lets win the semis-first eh?

But its not just our fans, even the mackems are talking about getting final tickets and some have even booked hotels in advance thinking they've already 'made it' :censored:

I'm not sure why people are poo-pooing people talking about this. Every other set of fans are doing the same, and if it happens the ticket details will be released at very short notice. Last time we beat Brentford in the semi final the tickets were on sale for the final the following day.

Not sure what we would do, but this is what Notts Forest did last season. Imagine it would be something similar...

If the club did that then it makes a mockery of the whole priority points system so surely that wouldn't be the case. Why should someone who's not been to a game in years (probably since the last play off final) but is a mate of a season ticket holder get a ticket over someone who's been to 10 home games this season for example and paid the crazy walk up prices. One per season ticket then a staggered release of tickets based on priority points would be the right way to do it. Although it does present a problem for people wanting to take their kids. Like myself for example, my kids come with me to games and although I attach their names to the tickets it's only myself that builds up the priority points.

All hypothetical of course, feel like a mackem discussing this already 😄. Them lot are probably already discussing their recruitment for the Prem next season!

Wouldn’t mind Pickford if Everton go down! ;)
